The company is led by senior partners & husband-and-wife team Barry and Melanie Lee and has been established since 2017. Together, Barry and Melanie have over 50 years’ experience in corporate transactions and finance, debt advisory, and corporate funding. They specialise in working with SMEs, family-owned, and owner-managed businesses with a turnover in excess of £1m or net profit of £250k upwards.
Barry Lee
Barry Lee has over 30 years’ experience in commercial banking, asset-based lending, trade finance, and cashflow lending, within the corporate transactions space. He has assisted businesses with management buyouts, acquisitions, turnaround finance, and refinancing. Over the course of his career, Barry has structured bespoke transaction solutions and packages ranging from £25k to £30m. He is committed to helping businesses achieve growth and now applies his extensive experience to assist business owners looking to sell or acquire businesses.
Melanie Lee
Melanie Lee has over 25 years’ experience in financial analysis and operational administration. She has worked in various roles in the finance sector, including audit and Client Management positions in the Invoice Finance industry. Melanie has previously worked as a Commercial Finance Consultant, where she helped tailor financing packages that met her clients’ unique requirements and negotiated favourable terms on their behalf. She most recently worked in the Peer-to-Peer funding sector, and now enjoys helping clients through the sales process.
James Lee
With a first-class honour’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Lincoln, James Lee brings a fresh approach to his role as a research analyst. He designs and prepares Information Memorandums, conducts in-depth research, and assists in providing comprehensive sales solutions to clients. James has gained customer service experience in his previous roles and is committed to helping clients achieve their desired outcome.
